Internet of Things (IOT)

Actually, we are going to make world size robot by connecting everything and helping make the world smarter, it faces many challenges as well as a lot of opportunities. Emerging mega trend in IOT domain now is mature enough to integrate the internet into every object in the network. IOT or Internet of Things basically refers to the network of interconnected physical devices and mechanical objects that are linked with network connectivity, sensors, and software which enables them to collect and exchange data. Cyberspace system emerged as a 4th industrial revolution. The world stands on the brink of IOT revolution that will thoroughly alter the way we think, live and work. The transformation occurs due to IOT will be unlike anything humankind has experienced before. IoT comes with Aiming to improve quality of life by connecting devices to communicate with each other without fully dependent on human and serve humans life, obedient slave. The IOT fully transform connectivity form “anytime” “anywhere” for “anyone” into “anytime” “anywhere” for “anything”. Due to advance technology world adopting new trend “always connected” mode. Which also shift “every time” “everywhere” for “everything”. Cisco predicted that the number of connected devices will rise to 50 billion by the end of 2020 which mean seven devices per person. Now more than half of world population connected with internet and the growth of users from almost last two decade are (2000-2017) was 976.4% which is increasing rapidly every year. Current industrial trends aim to “connect the unconnected”.

Opportunities

IoT offers huge market opportunities for all stakeholder in the market like electronic equipment. Manufacturers, ISP’s, Constructors, Oil and Gas Mining, Medical and to application developers also. IoT smart devices are expected cross 212 billion entities or sensors deployed by at the end of 2020. By 2022 Machine-to-Machine (M2M) traffic flow on the internet will increases up to 45%. So, we can imagine how much potential IoT contain. Navigant report concludes that the Building Automation Systems (BAS) market is expected to rise from $58.1billion in 2013 to reach $100.8 billion by 2021; the increase of more than 60%. It’s projected that by 2020, 75% of new cars will come with built-in IoT connectivity. Cars talk to each other for smooth and driving.

The world leaders in IT have invested the massive/huge amount in IOT to make a better place in emerging field and set the standard. Companies are investing in large sums in IOT Google, Apple, IBM, Amazon, and Microsoft. As its human nature that it always tries to increase their comfort level of living. IOT makes this much easier through the best quality of service. Internet becomes a 6th basic need of human. It allows devices to communicate with each other without disturbing its owner. Devices are like slaves they work for human. Like one should reach office and how much it feels better when AC was already at room temperature will amaze the person lights are automatically on when a person enters in office and will off when a person leave office. Water pumps automatically fill water tank without external instruction. No need of the driver to open a gate, yes IOT will automatically open it for you whenever it sees an authorize car coming. An ambulance will get the fastest route towards the nearest hospital which was sent by smart traffic signals. Hospital emergency will alert whenever ambulance sent an emergency message to hospital. Ambulance automatically receives patient details from his/her smart health band and forward to a nearer hospital so their will no delay to monitor patient current situation like blood group, BP, heartbeat rate patient medical history etc. By this way, IOT will serve humankind. Soon it’s become the reality that majority of our daily routine tasks will have done automatically with the help of smart devices.
