Governor Punjab lauds COPAIR’s humanitarian initiatives

Governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar has lauded the initiatives launched by Center of Pakistan and International Relations (COPAIR) for the youth and humanity. COPAIR has specialization in the field of capacity building of youth for entrepreneurship as well as extending helping hand to the vulnerable segment of the society.

Assessing this specialization, Governor Punjab has appointed President COPAIR Amna Malik as Coordinator of Sarwar Foundation for Sargodha Division to carry on social initiatives in the region COPAIR and Sarwar Foundation together work for youth and women empowerment and installation of water filtration plant in Sargodha division. In the meeting, Amna Malik discussed discussed various social Issues with Governor Punjab and he appreciated Miss Amna Malik efforts for humanity and assured his full support to her social endeavors.

Center of Pakistan and International Relations (COPAIR) is working on access to clean drinking water which is a basic necessity and launched in Sargodha division it’s pilot project to prepare feasibility and research publications to assess the basic needs of community to have access to clean drinking water. In this regard COPAIR is coordinating with Punjab Government with reference to the project estimation. COPAIR organized various policy dialogues and engaged stake holders and leading think tank to prepare a policy frame work how to resolve this issue.

COPAIR dedicated team under the visionary leadership of its President Amna Malik tried to resolve the pending issue of Khushab MC clean drinking water supply by communicating with the CM Punjab and the Chief secretary Punjab office to ask local government department to release funds to Khushab MC and coordinated with secretary finance to release payment and suggested WAPDA to prepare installment plan to ease community of Khushab.
