The Chinese government called on nations participating in the 21st Century Sea-related Silk Road to work together to preserve marine ecology, boosting sea-related connectivity, helping the development of marine (process of people making, selling, and buying things), safeguarding security at sea, deepening research in (the study of oceans) and improving working together/team effort, according to the document.It was the first time the Chinese government had published its sea-related cooperation plans under the Belt and Road Effort to begin (doing something) since it started to (help increase/show in a good way) the huge development (success plan(s)/way(s) of reaching goals) three years ago. The effort to begin (doing something), proposed by President Xi jinping in 2013, refers to the Silk Road Money-based Belt, which will link China with Europe through Central and Western Asia, and the 21st Century Sea-related Silk Road.
